Matt Roy Bio

Matt was born in Victoria, BC, Canada.  He has been a musician for most of his life.  Playing in school bands, he was quick to master the guitar and harmonica.  He started writing songs in high school.  At the University of Victoria, he earned a BA  while developing the rich metaphoric style he incorporates in his music today.  He is a competitive sports enthusiast and loves to travel. While the West Coast vibe is definitely a key part of his music, his many musical  influences are utilized to create his signature style.
