Run Away with Me (Bonnie and Clyde)

Sittin’ down with a piece of strange
For a three course meal with a two course brain
When silence knocked on the door.

Who are you?  What’s your name?
Can’t help but think that we’re one and the same.
Shoot first, I’d adore.

But Bonnie met Clyde in a soda shop in 1930.
We could be outlaws…
Run away with me.

But Bonnie met Clyde in a soda shop in 1930.
We could be outlaws…
Run away with me.

Outlandish as the question seems,
Walk the line between fantasy and a dream.
Shouldn’t be so hard to see.

The water’s low but the door’s wide open,
Leaning back and softly spoken.
Enticement loathes reality.

But Bonnie met Clyde in a soda shop in 1930.
We could be outlaws…
Run away with me.

But Bonnie met Clyde in a soda shop in 1930.
We could be outlaws…
Run away with me.

I don’t know if you can see
But I’m a fucking tragedy.
Can’t hit a stagnant breeze
So waste your time.

I’m a fallen man
A child in the palm of your hands
It’s a well-checked land.
Don’t waste your time.

But Bonnie met Clyde in a soda shop in 1930.
We could be outlaws…
Run away with me.

But Bonnie met Clyde in a soda shop in 1930.
We could be outlaws…
Run away with me.

With me…
With me…
